Our client, an Industrial leader, is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic 2nd Shift to join their team. As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will be part of the maintenance department supporting the production team. The ideal candidate will have a can-do positive attitude, strong problem-solving skills, and a passion for excellence which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic 2nd Shift

Location: Leominster, MA

Pay Range: upon experience

What's the Job?

  • Troubleshoot machinery for faulty mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and electronic malfunctions and repair/replace as required.
  • Fabricate fixtures, parts, tools, and support equipment, utilizing machine shop practices and equipment, such as lathes, milling machines, drill presses, saws, welders, and hand tools.
  • Maintain hydraulic and pneumatic systems using blueprints as necessary and ensure all support machinery is operational.
  • Perform electrical wiring on production and support building utilities (120V 480V) three-phase, and 120-volt single phases.
  • Complete maintenance logs and CMMS tasks and updates as needed while adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices and Food Safety Standards.

What's Needed?

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • 3-5 years experience performing maintenance tasks within a manufacturing environment.
  • PLC experience is a plus.
  • A can-do positive attitude and strong work ethic.
  • Prior experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
