Electrical Maintenance Technician

Electrical Maintenance Technician-Direct Hire Are you an experienced and highly skilled Electrical Maintenance Technician ready to take on a pivotal role in a dynamic manufacturing environment? We are seeking a driven and meticulous professional with a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience to ensure the reliability and efficiency of our critical electrical systems.

salary: $52,000 - $64,400 per year

Responsibilities

• Diagnose & Conquer: Expertly troubleshoot, repair, and maintain sophisticated electrical control systems, motor control centers (MCCs), and variable frequency drives (VFDs) to minimize downtime.
• Blueprint Whisperer: Confidently interpret and work from schematics, blueprints, and wiring diagrams to ensure precise installations, repairs, and system modifications.
• Safety First, Always: Operate scissor lifts and forklifts safely and efficiently for maintenance tasks, adhering strictly to all safety protocols.
• Code Compliance: Apply comprehensive knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and NFPA 70E standards to ensure all work is performed safely and up to code.
• Preventative Power: Execute robust preventative maintenance programs to extend equipment life and optimize performance.
• Beyond the Wires: Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, and provide technical guidance.

The essential functions of this role include:

working in a smoke free environment

wearing steel toe shoes

working in a non-temperature controlled environment

manual lifting up to 50lbs

standing for 8 hours at one time

working weekends
