Maintenance Mechanic (2nd shift)

Summary: Seeking a Maintenance Mechanic for 2nd shift to perform general maintenance and repairs on facility equipment, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

Requirements:

• Maintain and repair production machines and plant facility equipment.
• Perform mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic troubleshooting and repair.
• Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders.
• Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test, and make adjustments.
• Perform regular preventative maintenance including some HVAC tasks.
• Conduct basic plumbing, electrical maintenance, and carpentry functions.
• Use hand tools, power tools, electric meters, material handling equipment.
• Assist with snow removal in winter.
• Comply with EPA, Hazmat, OSHA safety rules; maintain clean work areas.

Preferred Skills:

• Mechanical inclination; familiarity with PLC diagnostics.
• Knowledge of electronic controls; experience with industrial equipment operation.
• Ability to multitask; attention to detail; minimal supervision required.

Responsibilities:

• Implement preventative maintenance measures.
• Maintain inventory of repair equipment and supplies.
• Complete facility inspections; respond quickly in emergencies following protocols.

Pay Details: $24.00 to $31.00 per hour
