As a Facilities Electrician, you will play a crucial role in maintaining, repairing, and upgrading the electrical systems and equipment within our facility. Your expertise will ensure that our operations run smoothly, safely, and efficiently while adhering to all relevant codes and standards. This position offers the opportunity to work on diverse systems and to be an integral part of a forward-thinking team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, equipment, and fixtures in compliance with local and national codes
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues, ensuring timely and effective resolutions
  • Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical systems to identify potential issues before they arise
  • Collaborate with other team members to plan and execute facility upgrades and renovations
  • Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to ensure precise installations and repairs
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections
  • Ensure adherence to safety regulations and protocols to minimize risks and accidents
  • Respond promptly to emergency situations to mitigate electrical hazards and restore functionality
  • Provide input on energy efficiency initiatives and recommend improvements to reduce power consumption
  • Support Safety, Environmental, Health, and Security Standard
  • Achieve and maintain 100% completion of assigned EHSS training for yourself and your team
  • Perform safety analysis (Job Hazard Analysis) as required
  • Be proactive in reducing incidents of personal injury, safety hazards, or environmental releases
Minimum qualifications
  • 2 plus years of industrial equipment experience
  • A valid electrician's license or certification
  • Flexibility to work occasional weekends, evenings, or on-call shifts as needed
  • Strong knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and safety protocols
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents, blueprints, and schematics
  • Proficiency in using electrical testing tools and diagnostic equipment
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Proficient computer skills including spreadsheets and PowerPoint
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in facility maintenance or industrial setting
  • Understanding of semiconductor equipment and processes
  • Experience in data extraction, analysis, and reporting
