Job Title: Reliability Engineer

Job Description

Exciting opportunity with a growing company for a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer! Great location in downtown Chicago. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability, efficiency, and safety of mechanical systems integral to the production.

Responsibilities

• Establish and lead preventative and predictive maintenance on equipment
• Troubleshoot mechanical failures to minimize downtime
• Support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain maintenance logs and documentation for all equipment.
• Assist in the installation and commissioning of new machinery and upgrades.
• Work closely with external vendors and contractors for specialized services, spare parts procurement, and equipment upgrades.

Essential Skills

• Mechanical and Pneumatic Troubleshooting
• TPM Experience and/or Preventive Maintenance
• Hands-on experience
• Building schedules and BOMs for repairs
• ERP/CMMS experience
• Degree in a related field

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with PLCs
• Electrical Troubleshooting

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $60.00/hr.
