Maintenance Engineer (OpenShift)

Zachary Piper Solutions is looking for a Red Hat Maintenance Engineer to join a high-impact team supporting a Federal program in Tampa, FL. As a Maintenance Engineer, you will work hands-on with Red Hat OpenShift and related enterprise technologies in a secure environment, helping to maintain and enhance critical systems. You'll collaborate directly with technical leads and stakeholders to ensure optimal system performance and reliability. This is an on-site role in Tampa, FL that requires a TS/SCI clearance for consideration.

Responsibilities

• Support public sector customers in implementing automated and containerized cloud application platform solutions
• Learn new technologies quickly, including container orchestration and microservices
• Perform technical reviews and proactively identify and prevent issues
• Understand customer technical infrastructures and serve as a customer advocate
• Collaborate with engineering, R&D, product management, and technical support teams
• Create documentation regarding customer issues and resolutions
• Manage and grow customer relationships through attentive support
• Provide hands-on support as needed

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience with OpenShift technologies
• U.S. citizenship to fulfill government contract
• Active TS/SCI
• Experience with cloud management, particularly Red Hat OpenShift
• Competent comprehension of enterprise architecture
• Direct experience with various hardware vendors
• Ability to manage multiple issues and projects with shifting priorities
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
• Understanding of continuous integration (CI) and continuous delivery (CD) concepts
• Familiarity with source code management tools like Git or SVN
• Willingness to provide after-hours coverage

Compensation Includes:

• Salary Range: $120,000 - $160,000 depending on experience
• Full Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, PTO, Paid Holidays, Sick Leave as required by Law
