Maintenance Mechanic Job Description Seeking a 1st shift Maintenance Mechanic for a plastic injection molding facility responsible for ensuring optimal operation of machinery while adhering to safety and maintenance standards. This role involves diagnosing and repairing mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, as well as performing routine inspections and preventive maintenance on equipment. The successful candidate will collaborate with production teams to minimize downtime, maintain accurate maintenance records, and implement improvements to enhance overall efficiency. Responsibilities Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on equipment. Collaborate with production teams to minimize downtime. Maintain accurate maintenance records. Implement improvements to enhance overall efficiency. Essential Skills 4+ years industrial maintenance and preventive maintenance experience. 4+ years troubleshooting hydraulics, pneumatics, and bearings. Ability to read/interpret mechanical and hydraulic blueprints. Own tool box and set of basic tools (specialty tools provided). Formal training, degree, or certification required. Additional Skills & Qualifications Maintenance experience with plastic injection equipment. Industrial Certificates or Degrees. Ability to troubleshoot 480v 3-phase. Ability to read/interpret schematics. PLC troubleshooting. Welding/Fabrication Skills. Why Work Here? Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $34.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
