AJATC is a secure residential program for at-risk male and female youth, located on 110 acres just outside of Little Rock, AR. Through our trained programming for staff, AJATC promotes a normalized high school experience, offers a safe environment and provides opportunities for positive change, as well as providing the unlimited potential for achievement and growth for students and staff. Our campus features residential student dormitories, on-site school and library, vocational training program, chapel, gymnasium, medical and an outdoor recreation area. Pay: $18.00/hour; can increase based on years of experience
What you will do: As a maintenance worker, you will perform work orders across the facility such as general building maintenance, changing light bulbs, minor electrical repairs, repairing drywall, painting, landscape, etc. You will also assist in responding to emergency maintenance calls on the radio, and assist in maintaining the ROP vehicle fleet.
To be considered you should: Have a High School Diploma or equivalent, but not required ~ Be at least 21 years of age ~ Be able to pass a criminal background check, drug, physical, and TB test ~ Be able to pass a search of the child and adult abuse central registry ~ Must meet requirements to become an ROP eligible driver, including having an active Drivers License
Schedule: Part-time only; temporary position until September 2025.
