_Equipment Mechanic- $35/hour- Start ASAP!_**
**_Pay: $30-$45/hour_**
**_Hours: Monday-Friday, 7 am - 5 pm_**
_Join a local construction company as an Equipment Mechanic, where you'll work on a variety of machinery including pavers, front loaders, skid steers, dump trucks, and generators. While one technician handles most service calls, candidates should be able to obtain a CDL to assist with service calls as needed. With a preference for those with 3-5 years of experience as a truck or heavy equipment mechanic, we are open to candidates with mechanical aptitude, though pay will depend on experience._
**_Responsibilities:_**
+ _Diagnose, adjust, repair, or overhaul mobile mechanical, hydraulic, gas, diesel, and pneumatic construction equipment._
+ _Perform preventive maintenance on diesel engines and other mechanical components._
+ _Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems in construction machinery._
+ _Handle service calls and perform maintenance tasks on small engine equipment as needed._
+ _Obtain CDL and Double, Triple endorsements to assist with service calls if necessary._
**_Skills:_**
+ _3-5 years of experience working as a truck/heavy equipment mechanic preferred._
+ _Proficiency in diesel engine repair and troubleshooting._
+ _Ability to perform preventive maintenance on heavy equipment._
+ _Strong mechanical and electrical skills._
+ _CDL and Double, Triple endorsements preferred._
+ _Mechanical aptitude is beneficial for candidates with less experience._
+ _Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English is advantageous._
**_Work Environment:_**
_Work in a smaller shop currently expanding manpower by hiring two additional mechanics. Utilize a brand new, state-of-the-art service truck that requires a class B CDL to operate. The environment fosters teamwork and skill development in a dynamic setting._
