Maintenance Mechanic

Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Location: North Aurora, IL

Type: Contract
Compensation: 1st Shift: $30/hr -- 2nd Shift: $31/hr
Contractor Work Model: Onsite
Hours: 1 st Shift: 7:00 AM 7:00PM or 2 nd Shift: 7:00PM 7:00AM
Schedule: Rotating 2 days on/2 days off, then 3 days on/2 days off (off every other FriSun)

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform all maintenance activities (preventive, predictive, corrective).
• Troubleshoot and maintain production equipment.
• Complete work orders accurately and on time.
• Use hand/power tools and shop equipment.
• Work safely in a fast-paced, operational setting.

Qualifications:

• Ability to lift 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks (standing, stooping, climbing stairs).
• Ability to use all power tools, hand tools, drill presses, shop tools, etc.
• Read/interpret technical documents in English.
• Comfortable using computers and communication tools.
• Experience working around industrial machinery.
• Capable of moving up and down building stairways in a multi-level plant to reach job assignments and perform the tasks required.
• Worker will be exposed to all hazards of machinery and equipment in an operational baking environment.
