Zachary Piper Solutions is looking for a Red Hat Maintenance Engineer to join a high-impact team supporting a Federal program in Tampa, FL. As a Maintenance Engineer, you will work hands-on with Red Hat OpenShift and related enterprise technologies in a secure environment , helping to maintain and enhance critical systems. You'll collaborate directly with technical leads and stakeholders to ensure optimal system performance and reliability. This is an on-site role in Tampa, FL that requires a TS/SCI clearance for consideration.

Responsibilities

Support public sector customers in implementing automated and containerized cloud application platform solutions

Learn new technologies quickly, including container orchestration and microservices

Perform technical reviews and proactively identify and prevent issues

Understand customer technical infrastructures and serve as a customer advocate

Collaborate with engineering, R D, product management, and technical support teams

Create documentation regarding customer issues and resolutions

Manage and grow customer relationships through attentive support

Provide hands-on support as needed

Requirements

5+ years of experience with OpenShift technologies

U.S. citizenship to fulfill government contract

Active TS/SCI

Experience with cloud management, particularly Red Hat OpenShift

Competent comprehension of enterprise architecture

Direct experience with various hardware vendors

Ability to manage multiple issues and projects with shifting priorities

Outstanding written and verbal communication skills

Understanding of continuous integration (CI) and continuous delivery (CD) concepts

Familiarity with source code management tools like Git or SVN

Willingness to provide after-hours coverage

Compensation Includes:

Salary Range: $120,000 - $160,000 **depending on experience**
