Raven Services is pleased to announce an opening for a Maintenance Electrician to support the operations at the William J. Clinton Presidential Library in Little Rock, AR. This role requires a dedicated individual to join our Facilities Operations and Maintenance (O&M) team, where you will ensure that the library's electrical systems are always operating at optimal levels.
Your main responsibilities will include the installation, preventive maintenance, and repair of electrical equipment crucial for the generation, distribution, and usage of electrical energy. You must be adept at interpreting blueprints and technical drawings, diagnosing issues, and executing repairs efficiently and safely. The Electrician will also be expected to perform load calculations for electrical systems and respond promptly to emergencies that may occur any time during the workday, or after hours.
In this role, you will fully utilize a range of electrician's tools, along with measuring and testing equipment. Tasks may also involve supervising subcontractors on site during specific projects. You will provide valuable input for monthly reporting on ongoing projects and assist in maintaining accurate project documentation. Additionally, support for special events and temporary exhibitions will be part of your responsibilities, as well as backing up utility labor duties when necessary. In general, the work of the maintenance electrician requires rounded training and experience usually acquired through a formal apprenticeship or equivalent training and experience.
Hours will be from 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Monday - Friday
Salary and Benefits Overview:
Starting pay is set at $24.02 per hour, with annual increases. Health and Welfare benefits amount to $5.00 per hour, paired with a $2.00 contribution to your 401K. You will also enjoy a pension contribution of $0.50 per hour. Full-time employees can look forward to 2 weeks of paid vacation after completing the first year, alongside 56 hours of sick leave. 11 Paid Holidays annually.
