Maintenance Supervisor

Vacancy Notice:

The Pocono Mountain School District wishes to inform you of the following posted Act 93 vacancy for the 2024-2025 school year:

• Maintenance Supervisor
• 12 months

The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for the planning and scheduling of maintenance and repair projects that involve mechanical, plumbing, electrical and HVAC systems on all district property. Consults with various staff members,

government agencies and contractors to ensure the district goals are met. Submits recommendations on payment or purchases of goods and services used by the department. Supervisor is expected to present a professional business like image that visibly identifies their position with the District to staff, students, vendors, visitors, and the general public.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Five (5) years’ experience in maintenance field preferred
• One (1) year of maintenance supervision preferred

Job Description

Salary commensurate with the Act 93 Agreement. The selected candidate shall be chosen based on credentials, the ability to demonstrate job functions and the successful completion of interview(s) along with meeting all local requirements.
