Maintenance Superintendent for New Luxury Apartments

We are seeking a Maintenance Superintendent for a luxury apartment building in Vernon, New Jersey.

Responsibilities and expectations for this role include:

- Performing general facilities maintenance tasks to uphold cleanliness, safety, and functionality standards.
- Addressing day-to-day maintenance requests promptly and accurately.
- Documenting completed work in our property management software.
- Conducting preventative maintenance as needed.
- Diagnosing and resolving defects or issues efficiently.
- Preparing vacant apartments for new tenants, including repairs and painting.
- Following procurement procedures and tracking inventory.
- Reporting to the direct Supervisor.
- Demonstrating honesty, reliability, attention to detail, communication skills, workmanship pride, accountability, and positive tenant interaction.

Qualifications:
- 5 years of maintenance experience.
- Hands-on experience with maintenance duties.
- Valid drivers license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to travel short distances when required.
- Reliability, trustworthiness, and teamwork skills.
- Politeness and customer service experience.
- Excellent time management and physical capabilities.
- Light HVAC, Electrical, and Carpentry skills.
- Successful background check.

Salary:
- Full-time position.
- Annual salary: $65,000-$75,000 based on experience.

- Monday to Friday: 8am-4pm.
- Saturday: 9am-2pm; rotating on-call weekends.
