**Job Summary:**

As an Electrical Maintenance Technician at Micron Technology, Inc., you will be responsible for the maintenance and operation of all the medium and low voltage systems on-site up to 35kV. This includes distribution switchgear, UPS units, dynamic UPS units, power quality systems, transformers, cable and bus systems, VFDs, and controls and monitoring systems. In this role, you will perform preventive and predictive maintenance, corrective work, inspections, and coordination of work activities.

**Responsibilities:**

+ Follow all safety procedures, LOTO, and NFPA 70E standards

+ Extensive knowledge of the National Electrical Code NFPA70

+ Understanding of electrical one-line diagrams and the ability to perform feeder switching on electrical switchboards with redundant feeds

+ Provide timely and detailed preventative maintenance on highly technical facilities equipment

+ Provide effective and proficient responses to restore equipment to service as soon as possible in the event of a system failure

+ Identify and respond according to alarm conditions

+ Provide effective and timely support to resolve equipment issues

+ Identify and reduce equipment defects to improve quality and enhance system stability

+ Maintain records on maintenance, testing, and calibrations of equipment

+ Experience interpreting & comprehending blueprint/CAD drawings.

**Minimum Qualifications:**

+ 3+ years of electrical industrial, semiconductor, or related field or equivalent experience or equivalent military experience

+ 2+ years of maintenance experience

+ 1+ years of experience in medium-voltage equipment construction, operation, and maintenance.

**Preferred Qualifications**

+ 5+ years of experience as an Electrician within the Manufacturing Sector.

+ Valid Electrical journeymen license
