Join our team as a skilled and experienced mechanic in our brand-new shop. This role is more than just a mechanic position. The successful candidate will be responsible for a diverse range of tasks, including: Conducting maintenance services for small equipment, trucks, trailers, skid steers, mini excavators, and diesel engines. Managing inventory of frequently used parts. Efficiently overseeing tool check-ins and check-outs to crews through our software system. Supervising regular services on trucks and keeping meticulous records of all maintenance work. Maintaining high levels of organization and demonstrating advanced computer literacy. Qualifications: Substantial, proven experience as a mechanic in a reputable shop, with expertise in various types of machinery and vehicles. Strong professional references required. Exceptional organizational skills and aptitude for maintaining detailed records. Proficiency in computer systems for managing inventory and service records. Excellent communication skills and a proven ability to work effectively in a team setting. Hours: Full-time. Over 40 hours per week during peak season (April-November), with lighter hours in the off-season.
