Job Details:
**Key Qualifications:**
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the burner/boiler sector; licensing is a plus.
- High school diploma or GED; trade school education highly preferred.
- Proficient in interpreting blueprints and executing maintenance tasks on boiler systems.
- Skilled in troubleshooting electrical circuits and maintaining all wiring and control systems.
- Ability to read and present information clearly, ensuring effective communication with team members.
- Strong commitment to following safety protocols and company procedures.
- Solid understanding of one-pipe, two-pipe steam systems, and hydronic systems.
**What You Will Do:**
- Align and assemble structures or plate sections to construct boiler frames following detailed blueprints.
- Perform inspections and repairs on various boiler fittings and auxiliary machinery.
- Operate and test automatically fired boilers for efficient steam generation.
- Monitor gauges and meters to ensure optimal performance and log necessary data at set intervals.
- Conduct voltage testing and document repairs, supporting overall equipment maintenance.
- Collaborate with journeyman mechanics to enhance your skills through practical training.
