THE WORK
This position is part of the Lockheed Martin Owego, New York MH-60R Production Integration Team. Primary job functions will be to install and modify aircraft electrical wiring, electrical connectors, and to perform wire terminations in support of on aircraft production modifications. This position will also provide support to the integration team on an as needed basis by installing or removing mission equipment hardware and assisting with flight line aircraft maintenance as required.

5 or more years of experience as an Aircraft Electrical Technician.
-This position requires the ability to install, modify, or repair aircraft electrical wiring/harnesses as per all applicable engineering drawings, schematics, and technical manuals.
-Requires the ability to terminate or repair a variety of aircraft electrical wiring such as Shielded Twisted Pair, Quadrax, and Coaxial utilizing the appropriate techniques and proper tooling.
-Must possess the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and technical manuals.
-Fundamental understanding of basic aviation electronics and electrical wiring.
-Ability to obtain a DOD secret security clearance.
-Candidate should be highly motivated and have a detail-oriented personality. Should also possess the demonstrated ability to perform assigned task/duties and work in a team environment.
-Must have the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform repetitive movements, work overhead, use hands to grasp, handle, and/or feel, reach with hands and arms. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, squat, crawl, and twist.
-This is for a first shift position, however, the applicant must be flexible and able to work extended or multiple shifts should the business need arise.
-A&P license preferred but not required.-Experience with Rotary Wing electrical systems & components. (MH-60R experience strongly preferred).
-Previous experience with facilitating aircraft electrical system modifications and installations in accordance with all applicable written documentation or directions.
-Knowledgeable of Naval maintenance practices and associated recording systems.
-SAP experience.
-Microsoft Office Suite skills.
