General Maintenance Worker

The Bryan County School System is accepting applications for immediate openings for Full-Time General Maintenance Workers.

The successful candidate must hold a high school diploma or GED and have a minimum of six (6) months of general maintenance experience. In addition, an extensive electrical background is strongly preferred. A Journeyman Electrician license or certification as a licensed electrical technician is desirable, but not a requirement.

This position is responsible for providing a healthy, safe, functional, and attractive environment for students, staff, visitors, and members of the general public through standards of cleanliness and the regular maintenance of BCS facilities. Applicants must be comfortable working in high places and be able to operate and remain on scissor lifts and/or manlifts for extended periods of time as part of electrical and general maintenance tasks.
