| | As our**Plant Services General Worker**, you will play a vital | |

| | role in keeping our property safe, functional, and looking its | |

| | best reflecting the values of the State of North Dakota. | |

| | | |

| | Your day-to-day work will include a wide range of general | |

| | maintenance responsibilities, often more complex in nature, | |

| | covering everything from carpentry, masonry, and painting to | |

| | electrical work, intercom systems, telephone wiring, fire | |

| | detection systems, refrigeration, and machine shop systems. | |

| | Youll be hands-on with repairs and upkeep of plumbing, | |

| | wastewater systems, and heating and cooling systems. | |

| | | |

| | Youll also be out in the elements maintaining the propertys | |

| | appearance throughout the seasonsmowing, trimming weeds, | |

| | shoveling snow, and plowing when needed. Maintaining the safety | |

| | and appearance of our lawns and trees is a big part of the job. | |

| | Youll operate lawn mowers, weed trimmers, hand tools, to keep | |

| | everything trimmed and clean. Some areas need a manual touch, | |

| | and youll be there trimming trees and landscaping where machines | |

| | cant reach. | |

| | | |

| | Youll also take on other duties as assigned, such as performing | |

| | minor repairs on grounds equipment, testing swimming pool | |

| | chemicals, and assisting other Plant Services staff with special | |

| | projects. You'll be included in the fire call rotation, so | |

| | flexibility and readiness are important. You will need to | |

| | maintain a high level of safety standards and follow protocols. | |

| | | |

| | **To thrive in this role**, you should be organized and | |

| | confident in your knowledge of general trades like plumbing, | |

| | electrical, construction, and HVAC. Physical stamina is | |

| | important, as youll need to lift a minimum of 50 pounds. If | |

| | you're someone who takes pride in hands-on work and contributes | |

| | to a safe, well-maintained environment, this role could be a | |

| | great fit for you. | |

| | **To be considered for this position**, you are required to have | |

| | a high school diploma or equivalent AND a minimum of Five (5) | |

| | years or related experience. | |
