6:30am - 3:00pm

JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for coordinating the work of custodial staff in the assigned building. Perform a variety of custodial duties and maintenance to maintain the cleanliness and efficient operation of the building.

WORK REQUIREMENTS AND CHARACTERISTICS

Education/Certification/Licensure:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Special Boiler License
• Pool License appropriate to building
• Valid Minnesota driver’s license

Experience:

• 2 years custodial experience

• General building maintenance skills
• General cleaning knowledge
• Basic math and computer skills
• Knowledge of proper lifting technique
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Excellent communication skills
• Knowledge of pool chemicals
• General mechanical ability
• Ability to meet deadlines
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Ability to inter-relate with others and present a positive interaction with public, peers and administration in all communications
• Ability to provide leadership skills
• Ability to use a variety of cleaning techniques, chemicals, and equipment
• Position requires exercising confidentiality in handling district information
