Maintenance Mechanic**
**Job Description**
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our team. The role involves troubleshooting, repairing, and performing preventative maintenance on all plant equipment. You will work with a tablet to manage your assigned tasks and will be involved in the inspection, repair, and installation of machinery. The position requires the ability to work off blueprints during installations and occasionally handle pipe installations and repairs.
**Responsibilities**
+ Troubleshoot and repair plant equipment using assigned tickets.
+ Perform preventative maintenance on all plant equipment every other Wednesday when the plant is shut down for maintenance.
+ Inspect, repair, and install machinery as needed.
+ Work off blueprints for equipment installations.
+ Handle pipe installations and repairs as required.
**Essential Skills**
+ 3+ years of experience in an industrial maintenance position.
+ Ability to complete the Maintenance Bennett Mechanical Comprehension Test.
+ Proficient in troubleshooting mechanical issues.
+ Mechanical repair skills.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Strong communication skills to ensure accurate PM documentation and correct ordering of repair parts.

**Work Environment**
The role is based in a manufacturing environment that is not climate-controlled. Maintenance operates on a rotating schedule with 12-hour shifts from 7AM to 7PM, alternating between day and night shifts. Technicians will utilize a tablet to manage reactive maintenance needs and scheduled preventative maintenance tasks.

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $32.00/hr.
