The City of Inver Grove Heights seeks an experienced Utility Maintenance Worker to join our team.
The hiring range is $30.38-$32.15/hr., depending on qualifications. This is a full-time benefited union (IUOE-49) position, with PERA Retirement, and health, life, and disability insurance. Please see the benefits tab on our posting for further details.
Under the direction of the Utility Superintendent and guidance of the Utility Lead Worker, the Utility Maintenance Worker is responsible for the maintenance and repair of municipal water supply, water and sewer infrastructure and water treatment plant maintenance activities. Requires a minimum of 2 years of directly related experience in utility maintenance and repair, and/or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Requires valid DL and ability to obtain a Class B MN CDL or equivalent, within one year, and Class A CDL within 2 years.
