Join our team as a Preventative Maintenance Technician and play a vital role in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our machinery and equipment. In this position, you will perform expert-level preventative maintenance responsibilities while adhering to industry standards and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Execute comprehensive preventative maintenance on machinery, which includes:
  • Observing operational devices to identify root causes of issues.
  • Dismantling equipment to access and replace defective components.
  • Inspecting parts for imperfections and adjusting functional components as necessary.
  • Conducting tests on electrical circuitry and mechanical systems.
  • Identify and source parts, supplies, and repair items essential for maintenance tasks.
  • Evaluate alternatives to enhance cost-effectiveness and reliability of equipment.
  • Collaborate with production teams to optimize daily preventative maintenance schedules.
  • Set up and operate various machining equipment, including but not limited to lathes, drill presses, grinders, and other metalworking tools for part fabrication and repair.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization by following 5S and housekeeping protocols.
  • Lead and actively participate in Continuous Improvement (CI) initiatives, focusing on process optimization, results, and cost savings through CI tools and methodologies.
  • Utilize predictive maintenance technologies to gather performance data, observe trends, and recommend adjustments to preventative maintenance practices.
  • Conduct on-the-job training and engage in self-study programs to foster personal career development.
  • Ensure adherence to all safety policies, rules, regulations, and guidelines, while demonstrating situational awareness to identify unsafe behaviors and conditions.
  • Install and maintain electrical and mechanical components of machinery, including engines, motors, pumps, pneumatic and hydraulic systems, and machine controls.
    Requirements:
    • Strong "Safety First" mindset.
    • Availability for on-site emergencies 24/7/365, including machine breakdowns, power outages, and adverse weather conditions.
    • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to professionally interact with all team members.
    • Proficient in using computer software, including Outlook, Teams, Excel, and SAP.
