We are seeking a skilled and motivated Concrete Mixer Diesel Truck Mechanic to join our maintenance team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience troubleshooting and repairing a wide range of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and air brake systems found on diesel-powered concrete mixer trucks. You will be responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing all critical truck systems to ensure the safe and efficient operation of our fleet.

Key Responsibilities:
Troubleshoot and repair air brake systems, including treadle valves (e.g., SR7, R14, R12) and related components.
Inspect, troubleshoot, and replace brake chambers.
Adjust and replace S-cams, slack adjusters, bushings, springs, drums, and brake shoes.
Diagnose and repair cooling system components such as clutch fans, radiators, water pumps, and thermostats.
Troubleshoot and service turbochargers and charge air coolers.
Diagnose, repair, and replace air conditioning systems and components.
Inspect and maintain air compressors and associated air systems.
Assist with hydraulic pump repairs and hose fabrication (training available).
Diagnose and repair electrical systems including charging, batteries, lighting, brakes, and turn signals.
Service driveline components such as drive shafts, pinion seals, torque rods, and transverse rods.
Maintain and troubleshoot concrete mixer-specific equipment (training provided if necessary).
Work independently or collaboratively as needed.
Make sound decisions and maintain composure during stressful situations.
Communicate clearly with supervisors and team members, and document repairs accurately.

Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required.
Vocational training or technical certification in diesel mechanics preferred.
Proven experience working with heavy-duty diesel trucks, preferably with mixer or vocational vehicles.
Valid drivers license required; CDL is a plus.
Own tools required (specialty tools may be provided).

Strong diagnostic skills and mechanical aptitude.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
Knowledge of diesel engines and truck systems.
Physically able to lift heavy parts and work in various positions.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Commitment to safety and attention to detail.

Experience with hydraulic systems or concrete mixer truck components.
ASE Truck/Heavy Equipment certification or equivalent.
