Job Overview:
GrizzlyTrek is currently seeking one Heavy-Duty Mechanic to join our Valued Clients team in Grand Prairie, AB. This is a contractor position, ideally suited to an individual committed to excellence and safety. Applicants must supply their own fully equipped mechanic truck.
Responsibilities:
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair heavy equipment used in construction and industrial applications
Conduct preventive maintenance to ensure machinery remains in optimal condition
Perform field repairs on-site using own service truck and tools
Maintain accurate service and inspection records
Qualifications:
Journeyperson certification in Heavy Equipment Technician or equivalent
Minimum 5 years of experience in heavy-duty mechanical repair
Valid Class 5 drivers licence with clean abstract
Must own a fully equipped and reliable mechanic service truck
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working in oil and gas or construction environments
CSTS and H2S Alive certifications
Familiarity with diagnostic software and OEM tools
Work Environment:
Field-based role with exposure to outdoor elements, heavy machinery, and variable weather conditions
May require travel to various remote sites and long hours depending on job demands
