Olsten Staffing is currently seeking a skilled MIG and Stick Welder for a company local to Sumter, SC. The ideal candidate will have experience working with mild steel and other metals in a fabrication or industrial setting. Attention to detail, safety, and reliability are essential.
Responsibilities:
Perform MIG and stick welding on various metal components
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical documents
Inspect welds for accuracy and quality
Maintain welding equipment and ensure a clean work environment
Follow all company safety protocols and procedures
Be available for occasional weekend shifts as needed
Requirements:
Proven experience as a MIG and stick welder
Ability to read technical drawings and weld symbols
Strong attention to detail and quality craftsmanship
Reliable transportation and good attendance
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods
Pay Details: $17.00 to $25.00 per hour
