We are seeking a skilled Helicopter Structure Mechanic to join our maintenance and repair team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with sheet metal fabrication, structural repairs, and modifications on rotary-wing aircraft. You will ensure the airworthiness of helicopter structures through precision work, following FAA regulations and company standards.
Key Responsibilities:Perform structural repairs and modifications on helicopter airframes using blueprints, drawings, and technical manuals.
Inspect damage or wear on fuselage, skin, frames, and other structural components.
Fabricate parts from aluminum, composites, and other materials using hand and power tools.
Remove and replace rivets, fasteners, stringers, skins, and support structures.
Use measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, etc.) to ensure precision.
Perform corrosion control and surface preparation.
Document all maintenance and repairs accurately in accordance with FAA and company policies.
Comply with all safety procedures, maintenance manuals, and quality standards.
High school diploma or equivalent (technical school preferred).
Minimum 25 years of helicopter structural repair experience .
Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and aircraft maintenance manuals.
Strong knowledge of structural repair techniques, tools, and materials (composite and metal).
FAA Airframe license preferred but not required.
Ability to pass background check and drug screening.
Attention to detail and craftsmanship
Strong problem-solving abilities
Team-oriented with strong communication skills
Physically able to work in confined spaces and at various heights
Familiarity with Sikorsky, Bell, Airbus, or Leonardo helicopters is a plus
