Mechanic

Job Responsibilities:

• Fabricate/modify parts as needed.
• Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment to perform duties.
• Troubleshoot and repair production equipment using skill set and knowledge of electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic.
• Maintain a safe work environment.
• Conduct duties as assigned by the department supervisor.

Job Requirements:

• A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Knowledge/experience in fabrication, welding, mathematics, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
• Proficient at precision machining and form grinding.
• Knowledge of production equipment and mechanical systems.
• Knowledge of quality and safety principles.
• Ability to work well with others.
• Ability to make independent decisions using reliable judgement.
• Ability to lift, push, pull and carry up to 40 pounds.
• Ability to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods.
• Ability to work overtime as required.

Starting Hourly Rate: $17/hour
