Perform regular preventative maintenance to ensure safe and efficient operation of equipment.
Adjust, repair, or replace defective parts and components using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment.
Test repaired equipment for proper performance and to ensure that work meets manufacturer specifications and safety standards.
Maintain detailed records of services performed, parts used, and time spent on repairs.
Operate diagnostic tools and software to detect equipment malfunctions and plan repairs accordingly.
Read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and work orders.
Collaborate with other mechanics, supervisors, or manufacturers for complex repairs and warranty issues.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment in accordance with company policies and health and safety regulations.
Respond to on-site repair calls and conduct field service repairs as needed.
Provide input on necessary parts ordering, tool requirements, and workshop improvements.
