Job Description

POSITION TITLE: Motor Grader Operator

DEPARTMENT: Linwood Township

REPORTS TO: Township Board

SALARY: Dependent on Experience

Essential Functions

Motor grader operator will be in charge of gravel/dirt roads. Operator will maintain roads to specifications, order gravel, clear snow, or debris, off roads. Maintain drainage and report and help repair any drainage structure or signs; will keep roadsides clean of trees, brush, and other obstructions. Operator duties will be to maintain machine and perform general maintenance & cleanliness.

Duties also include assisting County Road Crews if needed when working in Township.

Operator will also flag and/or barricade roads if/and when needed until effective repair is done. Resumes will be taken until position is filled.
