Building Maintenance Worker

Support the companys maintenance program by focusing on plant equipment and building maintenance in a manner that meets and complies with all food safety policies and OSHA regulations. Essential Functions Troubleshoot and repair mechanical problems with plant equipment (e.g., mechanical drive systems, HVAC, hydraulic and pneumatic systems) Troubleshoot and repair electrical problems with plant equipment (e.g., wiring, circuits, fuses, switches, electrical installations, transformers, motors, and AC/DC motor drives) Perform preventive maintenance on all plant equipment Perform building maintenance and repairs (e.g., air conditioning, lights, forklifts) Perform small repairs on equipment to prevent long-term downtime until permanent repairs can be completed Report food safety and quality issues to appropriate personnel Comply with all food safety requirements, training, policies, and procedures Perform other job-related duties as assigned Qualifications (Education, Experience, Competencies) Strong troubleshooting skills Skilled in pneumatics, and hydraulics Ability to accurately use and read a variety of measuring devices Well rounded electrical, mechanical and machine shop skills and experience Written and verbal communication skills Ability to work overtime as needed High school diploma or equivalent Technical degree in a maintenance related field, MN Special Engineer Boiler License or higher, or refrigeration experience preferred $2,000 Sign-On Bonus after 90 days.
