Maintenance Mechanic

at Progress Rail Services in Alorton, Illinois, United States Job Description We currently have an immediate opening in our maintenance department on 2nd shift, hours are Monday - Friday, however off shift support may be required as needed to address unplanned maintenance issues. Perform emergency/reactive repairs of production equipment and conduct follow-up evaluations to assess effectiveness of repair; Mechanical and electrical troubleshooting and repairing of manufacturing equipment. Maintain preventative maintenance program for manufacturing facility, including machining centers, presses, overhead cranes, hoists, and mobile equipment Electrical maintenance and repair of PLC and CNC controls Troubleshoot and maintain hydraulic systems, including pumps, valves, and controls Facility repair and maintenance including HVAC Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair of single phase 120 VAC and three phase (up to 480 volts) electrical systems Support safety initiatives and continuous improvement programs Procurement of maintenance supplies, repair parts, and service calls as needed To view full details and how to apply, please login or create a Job Seeker account
