Keep our City movingone street at a time! As a City Streets Maintenance Worker, you'll tackle a variety of hands-on tasks to keep our roads, facilities, and equipment in top shape. What You'll Do: Keep Our Streets Safe - Assist with road, sidewalk, and facility maintenance, including snow removal and repairs. Maintain & Repair Equipment - Make minor adjustments, replace worn parts, and keep tools in top shape. Track & Report Work - Maintain records, complete forms, and submit reports as needed. Care for City Greenery - Prune, fertilize, and treat trees and shrubs while safely removing damaged branches. Operate Heavy Equipment - Drive dump trucks, snowplows, and bucket trucks to complete essential tasks. What's In It for You? COMPENSATION & BENEFITS: The starting hourly wage is $20.06 per hour and will increase to $20.86 per hour after 6 months of successful probation . Or go to MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS OF EXPERIENCE AND/OR TRAINING One (1) year of experience in performing semi-skilled building or mechanical, construction, or grounds maintenance tasks. PREFERRED EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION, AND TRAINING Concrete finishing experience preferred. A Class A or B CDL license is preferred. High school graduate or GED equivalent is preferred. MISCELLANEOUS REQUIREMENTS Be at least 18 years of age. A passing grade on the written portion of the Class A or B CDL exam is required before employment. Pass the driving portion of the Class A or B CDL exam with tanker endorsement within 12 months of being hired into position. Have a valid Driver's license and be insurable under the City of Branson's motor vehicle coverage when operating a vehicle as a part of the position. Be willing to work snow routes that include 12-hour shifts during the months of November through March. Be able to pass a background investigation, drug and alcohol screenings, and a physical agility screening. WORK HOURS: Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. Some after hours will be required.
