Diesel Truck Mechanic

What You'll Do: Diagnose and repair mechanical issues on tractor trailers. Perform routine maintenance on brakes, tires, engines, and electrical systems. Conduct DOT inspections and ensure compliance with safety standards. Maintain accurate service records and communicate repair needs effectively. Troubleshoot electrical systems and perform A/C repairs Use diagnostic tools including J-Pro and OEM software (Cummins, Detroit, Volvo) Maintain and repair air brake systems, steering, and suspension Pay Range: $32.00 - $40.00 per hour (based on experience) Schedule: Monday - Friday: 6:30am - 2:30pm | Holidays Paid on Contract!! About the Role We are seeking a skilled and motivated Diesel Technician to join our fleet maintenance team. In this role, you'll be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining Class 8 tractors and other diesel-powered vehicles. You'll work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment where no two days are the samehandling everything from preventive maintenance to complex diagnostics using OEM software. Required Skills & Experience Proven experience with diesel engines and heavy-duty trucks Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills Familiarity with aftertreatment and emissions systems Ability to perform bumper-to-bumper repairs Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to learn and help others Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $40.00/hr.
