You will serve as a MAINTENANCE MECHANIC LEADER in the PRODUCTION DIVISION, FS BRANCH FAC SUS SHOP TECH SUS SUP TECH (PRR313) of NAVFAC ENGINEERING CMD MID-ATLANTIC.Although a specific length of time and experience is not required for most trade and labor occupations, you must show through experience and training that you possess the quality level of knowledge and skill necessary to perform the duties of the position at the level for which you are applying. Qualification requirements emphasis is on quality of experience, not necessarily the length of time.

This job has a screen-out element which will be used to determine minimum eligibility for this job. Applicants who do not receive a minimum of two points on the screen-out element(s) will be found ineligible. The Screen-out Element for this position is: 1)Demonstrate proficiency and practical experience in the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of air conditioning systems, as well as oil and gas-fired boiler systems; 2) Leading team members and prioritizing work task; 3) Ability to effectively train employees in proper troubleshooting techniques within operational standards; 4) Interpret building plans, blueprints, wiring diagrams, engineering documents, drawings, and maintenance and repair manuals to plan work.
