As an Entry Level Maintenance Mechanic, your primary focus is to maintain peak performance across production lines. You'll be exposed to a variety of mechanical and electrical systems, allowing you to expand your knowledge and skill set quickly. This is a hands-on position that requires initiative, a strong work ethic, and a problem-solving mindset.

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour (based on experience)

Shift Schedule:

7:00 AM - 6:30 PM or 7:00 PM - 6:30 AM

Monday through Saturday

Night shift availability preferred

Key Responsibilities

Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems

Perform preventative maintenance on equipment

Maintain detailed maintenance records and prioritize work orders

Identify standardized parts across production lines

Use multimeters and demonstrate basic electrical understanding

Work with hydraulic and pneumatic systems

Perform HVAC maintenance and troubleshooting

Operate tools including grinders, torches, and welders

Follow all safety procedures, including LOTO and OSHA compliance

Maintain clean and safe working areas; support waste reduction efforts

Collaborate with team members and report directly to the Maintenance Leadman and Plant Engineer

Requirements

Demonstrated mechanical skills and maintenance experience

Basic electrical knowledge; PLC troubleshooting a plus

Welding and fabrication skills preferred

Must provide your own basic tools (company provides specialty tools)

Able to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly; occasionally lift 100+ lbs.

Capable of operating forklifts, scissor lifts, and man-lifts (certification/training provided)

Strong organizational and communication skills

Must pass a pre-employment physical and drug screening
