Job Summary

W e a re seeking a skilled Mechanic responsible for the timely maintenance and delivery of equipment to meet operational demands. This role is critical to reducing nonproductive maintenance time, improving asset reliability, and increasing the productivity of the maintenance team. The ideal candidate will have experience performing preventive maintenance and diagnostics on trailers, tractors, and other industrial equipment, with a strong understanding of electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.

Job Description

  • Perform maintenance on assigned equipment in accordance with established maintenance programs and reliability-centered maintenance strategies.
  • Use the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to accurately log work orders, parts usage, labor time, and equipment performance data.
  • Adhere to all company maintenance standards and procedures.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to optimize asset turnaround time and reduce equipment downtime.
  • Participate in CoSD (Cost of Service Delivery) projects, including repair and reuse initiatives.
  • Conduct field service and road calls using provided company vehicle.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues using diagnostic software and tools.
  • Participate in failure investigations and support root cause analysis when needed.
  • Contribute to technician training and knowledge-sharing efforts.

S kills Required

  • Minimum of 2 years in tractor/trailer maintenance
  • 2 years of oil & gas industry experience
  • Experience with: Cement pumps, Peterbilt tractors, Air Slide, Bulk trailers
  • Familiarity with diagnostic software: CAT ET, Cummins Insight, Davie Software, Service Ranger
  • HVAC experience is a plus
  • Preferred: Training or certification in Diesel Maintenance or a related technical field

Education

  • High school diploma or GED required;

Pay Rate

  • $25 per hour
