Job Summary: Perform maintenance and repairs on plant equipment. Including checking the performance of machinery, clean and lubricate them, perform basic diagnostics, and test damaged machine parts to determine if repairs are necessary

Pay Range: $20-$24/hr, based on experience

Shift : 1st-shift

The Impact You'll Make:

• Maintain plant equipment utilizing: hand, power and pneumatic tools; ladders; man-lifts; metal fabricating equipment (drills, grinders, welders, cutting torch, plasma cutter); front end loaders, Bobcats and forklifts.
• Troubleshot equipment problems and make needed repairs.
• Complete daily work tickets, noting parts used.
• Maintain clean work environment by wiping down machines and cleaning work area as needed throughout the plant and within Maintenance Department

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

• High School Diploma or GED; 1+ years formal technical training is preferred
• 1+ years' experience in industrial maintenance; Familiar with belt conveyors, electric motors, hydraulic and pneumatic systems and mechanical moving parts is a plus
• Electrical and welding knowledge a plus
• Proven ability to multitask in a stressful environment
• Ability to perform basic math functions
• Basic computer literacy (inventory data entry, read work orders, etc.)
• Must be self-motivated, safety-conscious and carry out work responsibilities in a safe manner
• Must be willing to work overtime hours and Saturdays, as needed.
