Maintenance Mechanic Job Description We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic with industrial experience in electrical systems, welding, and industrial maintenance. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in industrial electrical work and welding techniques. Responsibilities Perform maintenance and repairs on industrial equipment. Conduct electrical troubleshooting and repairs within an industrial setting. Utilize welding skills to perform necessary repairs and maintenance. Ensure compliance with safety standards while working near moving mechanical parts. Work in dusty, noisy, and potentially outdoor environments. Handle chemicals used in the maintenance process safely. Essential Skills Five years of experience in electrical maintenance and repair. Industrial electrical experience. Proficiency in welding techniques. A high school diploma is required. Additional Skills & Qualifications Knowledge of 480V electrical systems. Experience with MIG welding. Familiarity with three-phase wiring. Food and beverage processing experience is advantageous. Clean driving record with a DMV printout covering the last five years. Why Work Here? Work Environment Located in McFarland, CA, just 26 miles from the Aerotek office, this role involves working nights from 5pm to 5am, with days off during the week. The work environment includes exposure to moving mechanical parts, dusty and noisy conditions, outdoor weather, and chemicals. The dress code requires boots and long sleeve shirts as the feed can get itchy. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Mc Farland, California. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.50/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
