Heavy Machinery Mechanic (Must Have Own Tools) Location: Beaumont, TX Job Type: Full-Time Job Summary: A Beaumont Company is seeking an experienced and dependable Heavy Machinery Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong diagnostic skills, hands-on experience with heavy equipment (e.g., bulldozers, backhoes, loaders, excavators), and must supply their own tools . Key Responsibilities: Inspect, diagnose, and repair a wide range of heavy equipment Perform preventative maintenance and safety checks Troubleshoot hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems Read and interpret technical manuals and schematics Maintain accurate records of repairs and service Work both independently and as part of a team in shop and field environments Requirements: Proven experience as a heavy equipment mechanic (3+ years preferred) Own full set of mechanic tools required for heavy equipment repair Strong understanding of diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems Ability to read and interpret service manuals and schematics Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in various environmental conditions Strong attention to detail and safety Preferred Qualifications: Certification from a technical school or manufacturer training (e.g., CAT, John Deere, Komatsu)
