Machinist - Prototype Builder

Prototype new product designs. Design, develop, and test new mechanisms for new products.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

1. Produce working prototypes.

2. Make custom modifications.

3. Perform equipment maintenance.

4. Perform machine set-ups.

5. Assist with testing.

6. Follow the design process and provide the proper documentation as required.

7. Understands and adheres to Quality & Compliance policies and procedures.

8. Follows safety procedures and maintains a clean and safe work environment.

9. Utilizes appropriate personal protective equipment where/when necessary.

10. Contributes to a respectful, non-hostile, non-violent work environment.

11. Understands the purpose, value, and impact work has on product customers and users.

Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

Previous shop experience required; machinist education preferred.

Knowledge of company products/processes.

Skills to use personal computer and various software packages.

Lift up to 50 pounds.
