Maintenance Mechanic

Maintenance Mechanic plays a critical role in enhancing the reliability and performance of plant equipment across designated areas. This is achieved through a combination of preventive and predictive maintenance, effective troubleshooting, timely repairs, and equipment rebuilds. The goal is to ensure optimal functionality and minimize downtime, contributing to a safe and efficient manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities Safety & Cleanliness Promote and adhere to all company safety protocols with a strong commitment to zero injuries. Maintain clean, organized, and hazard-free workspaces and equipment. Quality & Compliance Comply with all Safe Quality Food (SQF), HACCP, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) standards. Support the ConAgra Performance System (CPS), with a focus on the Preventive Maintenance (PM) Pillar. Equipment Maintenance & Troubleshooting Accurately diagnose and resolve issues with industrial machinery to maintain production schedules. Take ownership of problems until fully resolved, emphasizing first-time quality repairs. Conduct preventive and predictive maintenance, including cleaning and lubrication, to ensure equipment reliability. Provide feedback to improve and optimize PM procedures. Operational Support Perform and verify equipment changeovers as needed. Dismantle, inspect, and rebuild machinery with a focus on precision and accountability. Assist in maintenance planning by identifying required parts and tasks using SAP, including detailed material information. Continuous Improvement Prioritize tasks based on operational needs with a sense of urgency. Participate in Breakdown Elimination initiatives to reduce equipment failures. Uphold and enhance 5S standards across work areas. Required Skills Troubleshooting & Repair Preventive Maintenance Welding Mechanical Systems Hydraulics & Pneumatics Electrical Systems PLC Troubleshooting Qualifications Proficient in English (verbal and written communication). Working knowledge of SAP. Strong mechanical aptitude with proven troubleshooting abilities. Effective team collaboration skills. Minimum of 2 years' experience in a maintenance mechanic role. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $37.94 - $37.94/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
