Maintenance Technician Job Description We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostics on machines, running conduit, servicing electrical panels and breakers, and working from blueprints and diagrams. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical and electronic systems to troubleshoot breakdowns and replace various components. Responsibilities Perform diagnostics on machines to identify issues. Run conduit and pull wire as necessary. Service electrical panels and breakers. Work from blueprints, diagrams, and schematics. Troubleshoot all electrical and electronic breakdowns. Replace 3 phase motors, control panels, and gauges. Replace brushes and bearings for motors, tachometers, and generators. Install, replace, and repair microprocessors, programmable controllers, and solid state controls. Use electrical and electronic test equipment including oscilloscopes, voltmeters, ammeters, and digital meters. Essential Skills Electrical maintenance experience. Proficiency in electrical troubleshooting and mechanical aptitude. Experience with PLC troubleshooting. Ability to troubleshoot 3 phase motors. Additional Skills & Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required. Maintenance associates degree preferred but not required. 3-5 years of relevant experience if no degree. Why Work Here? Some areas, particularly adhesive rooms, can be greasy or dirty. Our team values collaboration and readily supports new members. The maintenance team consists of 23 technicians, and this position is currently available for the 3rd shift from 10:50 pm to 6:50 am. Steel toe boots are required, uniforms are provided, and safety glasses are supplied every two years. Overtime may be required as needed.
