Lead Maintenance Mechanic

Location: Fullerton, CA

Salary: $35.00 - $37.00 per hour

Shift: 1st Shift - Direct Hire Opportunity

Our client, a family-owned company in Fullerton, CA, has been in business for over 100 years! They are looking for a Lead Maintenance Mechanic to join their team. In this role, you'll help keep equipment running smoothly, troubleshoot problems, and provide solutions to improve production.

We're seeking someone with at least 5 years of experience as a lead mechanic. If you have experience with mechanical and electrical systems, enjoy problem-solving, and work well in a team, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

Maintain equipment, buildings, and systems, including electrical knowledge and experience with fillers, labelers, boilers, compressors, and mixers.

Replace and repair conveyors, motors, regulators, and other equipment.

Help manage spare parts inventory and support capital projects.

Work with other teams (production, QA, warehouse) to ensure safety and quality standards are met.

Lead and perform preventative maintenance (PM) tasks.

Train operators and troubleshoot equipment issues.

Keep the maintenance area clean and organized.

Participate in team-building and improvement efforts.

Lead special projects as needed.

Requirements:

5+ years of experience in a lead mechanic role.

Experience with equipment changeovers

Familiar with production line troubleshooting

Experience or education in electro-mechanical systems.

Trade school diploma or certifications are a plus.

Strong organizational and time management skills.

Must be able to communicate in English (Spanish is a plus).

Willing to work weekends when needed.

Self-starter who can work well with others.

Reliable and punctual.
