Equipment Maintenance Technician

Our client, a leader in the industrial sector, is seeking an Equipment Maintenance Technician to join their team. As an Equipment Maintenance Technician, you will be part of the maintenance department supporting the manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, excellent organizational abilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving which will align successfully in the organization.

What's the Job?

• Perform installation, maintenance, and repairs on manufacturing equipment.
• Maintain mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, or pneumatic systems in accordance with regulations.
• Machine parts to specifications using tools such as CNC, lathes, milling machines, shapers, or grinders.
• Identify and implement process improvements while ensuring adherence to quality system regulations.
• Communicate business-related issues or opportunities to the next management level.

What's Needed?

• 2-4 years of related experience in equipment maintenance.
• Associate Degree, Vocational Certificate, or equivalent education.
• Competent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Experience in machining parts to specifications using machine tools.
• Familiarity with Maximo and CMMS software preferred.
