Maintenance Mechanic

Aerotek is currently hiring for a maintenance mechanic in the greater Landover, MD area! Qualified candidates will be able to perform the following duties: Job Responsibilities Complete daily work order list and conduct plant inspections Repair and troubleshoot gear boxes, drivers, conveyors, and motors Diagnose and repair packaging equipment Perform preventative maintenance on manufacturing plant equipment Work with pistons, heat exchangers, and gauge systems Replace sprockets, gear boxes, and three-phase motors Read blueprints and P & ID Loops Understand basic electrical concepts and troubleshoot relays, wiring, and high voltage Pull wire and run conduit Maintain boilers and understand refrigeration systems Essential Skills Experience in a high-speed manufacturing environment Knowledge and skills equivalent to two years of experience in a manufacturing environment Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with troubleshooting and repairing mechanical equipment Proficiency in reading schematics and blueprints Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics systems Welding/fabrication skills a plus Experience with boilers a plus Qualified candidates are encouraged to apply to this posting directly.
