Responsibilities- Perform duties in alignment with the organization's mission and policies, and in compliance with the performance improvement plan, JCAHO, and other licensing, accrediting, and regulatory agencies.
- Report daily to the supervisor on the general condition of the facility and progress of work.
- Complete casualty prevention work orders and corrective maintenance work within specified deadline dates.
- Conduct daily rounds, tests, and spot checks of equipment and areas of responsibility.
- Properly document daily work performance on time and make entries into appropriate logs and journals.
- Maintain the cleanliness and safety of assigned mechanical spaces and rooftops.
- Perform preventative maintenance within the assigned month.
- Coordinate efforts within the assigned area with other areas to ensure overall success.
- Communicate with customers regarding established deadlines to ensure their expectations are met.
- Troubleshoot and repair major technical operations, including boiler operations, chillers, related machinery, and electrical systems.
- Ensure high-quality service output, efficient use of resources, and a safe work environment that meets all government and regulatory guidelines.
- Perform duties during regularly scheduled hours and be routinely on-call throughout certain days, weeks, and months of the year, or as departmental scheduling warrants.
5 years experience working with central plants, boilers, chillers, pumps, cooling towers, flue gas recover units Or 2 years experience working on centrifugal or reciprocating chillers. Or 5 years experience in Industrial or Commercial setting performing related duties
- Stationary 500HP Steam Engineer License Knowledge of electrical principles and theory, electronics, ability to read electronic and electrical schematics
- Stationary 500HP Steam Engineer License RSES License Preferred.
