The Maintenance Mechanic will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and replacing a wide range of manufacturing and packaging equipment to minimize downtime and maximize operational efficiency. This includes fillers, drop packers, depalletizers, case erectors, and various loading equipment such as pumps, valves, and meters. The role also involves building and infrastructure repairs, as well as maintaining facilities and grounds.Job Duties:Maintain, repair, and replace manufacturing, packaging, and loading equipment to ensure peak efficiency.Perform building and infrastructure repairs, including general upkeep of grounds.Utilize a variety of tools and crafts, including welding and electrical work, to complete maintenance tasks.Troubleshoot equipment issues to minimize downtime and support continuous production.Ensure all work is performed in compliance with safety and environmental standards.Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability and reduce maintenance costs.Qualifications:Proven experience in mechanical maintenance within a manufacturing or industrial environment.Hands-on knowledge of packaging equipment (fillers, drop packers, depalletizers, case erectors) and loading equipment (pumps, valves, meters).Skilled in welding and electrical work.Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.Ability to work independently and within a team environment.Commitment to safety, quality, and environmental responsibility.Qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, age, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, protected veteran status, or genetic information.
