About the Role:

As a Mobile HVAC & Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for the comprehensive maintenance and upkeep of HVAC systems and general building infrastructure for a portfolio of facilities supporting a major telecommunications client. This role requires a proactive and skilled individual to ensure optimal system performance, minimize downtime, and maintain a safe and comfortable environment across multiple locations.

What You'll Do:

  • Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on HVAC systems, including but not limited to chillers, air handlers, packaged units, and associated components.

  • Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues within the buildings.

  • Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, including work orders, inspections, and repairs, utilizing a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).

  • Respond to emergency maintenance requests promptly and efficiently.

  • Conduct regular inspections of buildings and equipment to identify potential problems and ensure compliance with safety regulations.

  • Perform preventative maintenance tasks according to established schedules and procedures.

  • Coordinate with vendors and contractors for specialized repairs and maintenance, as needed.

  • Ensure all work is performed in accordance with established safety protocols and industry best practices.

  • Order and maintain an adequate inventory of parts and supplies.

  • Communicate effectively with building occupants and clients regarding maintenance activities and potential disruptions.

  • Travel to various client locations within a defined geographic area.

What You'll Need:

  • High School Diploma or GED.

  • 2-3 years of experience in commercial HVAC and building maintenance.

  • EPA Universal Certification required.

  • Strong understanding of HVAC systems, including their operation, maintenance, and repair.

  • Proficiency in troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.

  • Experience with CMMS software preferred.

  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.

  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidates education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the Commercial Maintenance Engineer is $54,500 and the maximum salary for the Commercial Maintenance Engineer is $101,000. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidates skills, qualifications, and experience.
